SYMPHONY CRESCENT PARK

Public BBQ

Symphony Crescent Park in Burpengary turned out to be far more than your typical suburban green space. What immediately caught my attention was the ingenious "Ninja Park" - a warrior-style playground course that had children (and a few adults) testing their agility skills with genuine enthusiasm. The main playground impressed with its thoughtful design, featuring equipment for toddlers through teens, complete with shade sails that proved invaluable on Queensland's unforgiving sunny days. The park's practical amenities deserve praise: two compact but perfectly functional free BBQs, clean public toilets with an unexpectedly musical twist, and filtered drinking water taps. A proper half-court basketball setup provided entertainment for older visitors, while the expansive, well-maintained grounds offered ideal conditions for dog walking or leisurely scooter rides.
